The Division normally operates on two shifts from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Additionally, they may be called to work outside normal hours for snowstorms and special events.

Brief Description of Division
The Buildings and Grounds Division is responsible for the maintenance of the Municipal Complex and Police Station. This includes landscape and minor building repairs.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and maintaining the old Town Hall, new Town Hall, and Police Station;
- Annual planting and preparation of flowerbeds;
- Preventive maintenance;
- Reviewing expenditures relative to supplies.
