Wasserman Park and the adjacent Wasserman Conservation Area are located in the South Merrimack Village section of Merrimack. This park offers extensive public recreational opportunities including picnicking, swimming, fishing, tennis, volleyball, basketball, ball fields, and the Norma French Memorial Playground. Walking access to Horse Hill Nature Preserve can be gained via the Quarry Trail, which leads from the north parking lot through the Wasserman Conservation Area.

Both seasonal and year-round facility rentals are available. Rental arrangements can be made through the Parks and Recreation Department, whose offices are located in this park.  Wasserman Park is also the home of the Merrimack Community Garden.
