The Office of the Fire Marshal is responsible for all Fire and Ssfety Codes, construction plan and site reviews, approval of fire protections systems (fire alarms and sprinklers), Fire Prevention Inspections and Fire Education.
Operations Division

The Operations Division is responsible for training and all emergency and nonemergency calls for service. This division is responsible for all tools, equipment and apparatus used by the department. This divison is responsible for all Career Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technicians, and the Call Division of on-call volunteers (paid per call)who assist the career personnel during emergencies. Career personnel are on duty 24 hours each day, 7 days each week, 365 days each year as you insurance policy in the event of an emergency. The career personnel work 24 hours on duty and 72 hours off duty avgering 42 hours per work week.
