The Interceptor Rehabilitation Project was determined to be eligible to receive stimulus funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). This project, estimated to cost $1.6 million will now receive up to $800,000 in funds over the life of the loan. The first phase of the rehabilitation program has been completed with fifty-four (54) manholes having been rehabilitated. The second phase will begin sometime next spring with an additional 20 manholes. Final completion of the project will be in the fall of 2010.
This project is another critical infrastructure improvement to continue providing excellent service and protecting the environment from sanitary sewer overflows.
