Lieutenant Paul Poirier
Lieutenant Paul Poirier has been serving the citizens of Merrimack since January 1988. He currently holds the rank of Patrol Lieutenant.

Lieutenant Poirier was previously assigned as leader of the department’s C.O.P.S. unit before his promotion to Lieutenant. Prior to that spent 12 years in the criminal investigation bureau as a narcotics detective. He has been assigned to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force, the Federal Drug Enforcements Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force and the United States Marshals Dangerous Fugitive Task Force.
