Lieutenant Paul Trepaney
 

Paul Trepaney has been serving the Citizens of Merrimack since being hired as a Patrolman in September 1985. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant and is the Commander of the Criminal Investigation Bureau. He is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Bureau of five investigators and two School Resource officers.

• A.S. Computer Business Applications

Special Duties:

• Member of Accident Investigation Team since 1988
• Firearms Instructor since 1989
• Lead Firearms Instructor since 2002
• Co-ordinated the acquisition and deployment of TASER devices
• Developed and oversees the Department’s Elementary School Reading Program
• Member of the Bicycle Patrol Unit
