Merrimack Crimeline

Crimeline is a not for profit organization set up and managed by the Crimeline committee. This committee is comprised of many individuals. They include members of the business community, Police Department and citizens of the Town of Merrimack. Monies are accepted from donations generally from the business community, however, citizens also contribute to Crimeline. These funds are accepted and managed by a member of the committee. Crimeline meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Merrimack Police Department. The meeting starts at 7:00PM.

The purpose of Crimeline is to provide a service whereby anonymous calls may be made to the Police giving information regarding a crime or crimes that may have been committed in Merrimack. The calls are received at the Merrimack Police Department. The caller is then issued an ID number and any further contact will be referred to that ID number. The information is then forwarded to an Officer or Detective for follow-up investigation. Should that information lead to an arrest or indictment, Merrimack Crimeline will pay up to $1000.00 to the caller who provided the information. The decision on the amount of money paid is determined by the Crimeline committee.
