NATICOOK DAY CAMP 

Naticook Day Camp is run under the direction of the Town of Merrimack's Parks and Recreation Department.  Learning is part of the fun at Naticook.  Trained counselors guide campers, ages 5 through 12, in a relaxed atmosphere increasing self-confidence, respect and good sportsmanship. 

Naticook Day Camp is proud to be accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA).  Developed exclusively for the camp industry, this nationally recognized program focuses on program quality, health and safety issues and requires us to review every facet of our operation.  Click here for registration form.

JUNIOR CAMP

The Junior Camp is offered for children 5 & 6 years of age (going into kindergarten and first grade).  We have found in the past that the littler legs have a harder time keeping up with the bigger legs throughout the day.  Therefore, this revamped program is geared to go at their pace.  The Junior Camp is centrally located in the Theatre, next to the bunks, waterfront and dining hall, where they participate in activities such as arts & crafts, creative play, sports, games, storybook and snack time.  Other activities include: boating, nature, woodworking, dance and theatre. 

 

 TEEN CAMP 

Teen Camp is offered to children ages 13 & 14.  Teen Camp is a classic camp experience with an agenda that suits older campers.  Campers enjoy exciting activities with teens their age.  The staff provides a safe environment that helps teens develop social skills.  Sample activities include spa day, cooking, mural painting, hiking, themed obstacle courses, golf and more.  Teens have enjoyed the planning of themed dances such as karaoke, hawaiian etc.  There are also fun team building activities.  Other Teen Camp activities such as sports will be special for the teens including flag football, soccer, volleyball, ultimate frisbee etc.  Click here for a registration form.  See you this summer!  

 

C.I.T. PROGRAM

Children 15 years of age are eligible to apply for the Counselor-In-Training Program.  This program focuses on leadership and team building.  This program offers each candidate an opportunity to become familiar with the counselor's side of camp.  The valuable experience gained here will help participants no matter what career path is in their future.  Applications are being accepted for the C.I.T. program.  The fee to participate in this program is $65.00 per week.

CAMP HOURS:

9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Morning drop off opens at 8:30 am

Afternoon pick-up starts at 3:30 pm

 

 EXTENDED CARE HOURS:

Morning Extended Care opens at 7:30 am

Afternoon Extended Care closes at 5:30 pm

Additional hours may be scheduled by appointment.

 

NATICOOK DAY CAMP 2010

Naticook Day Camp will offer one-week sessions from June 21 through August 13!  Campers enjoy:

  • Daily Lunch
  • Daily Red Cross Swim Lessons taught by Certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructors 
  • Dedicated & Caring Camp Staff
  • Supplies and equipment to participate in each camp activity including everything from Woodworking to Theater!

The 2010 weekly rate:

  •  Merrimack Residents $155.00 per child
  • Non-Resident $200.00 per child
