Transfer Station Decals:
The Merrimack Transfer Station and Recycling Facility is located on Fearon Rd, off of Lawrence Road. It is open to the public Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. May 15 to September 11th, the facility has extended hours on Thusday evenings until 7 PM.
A permit must be obtained and displayed on each vehicle that uses the Merrimack Transfer Station and Recycling Center.
Tranfer Station decals are issued annually, beginning after Memorial Day. The decals are replaced every year to have increased control on who accesses the transfer station. The new permit must be displayed by January 1, in order to gain access to the facility.
Residents are required to show proof of residency in order to receive a sticker and all stickers must be placed on the driver’s side windshield, lower left hand corner.
The permit is free of charge and may be obtained at the Transfer Station or the Town Clerk/Tax Collector's office. More information regarding the Transfer Station can be obtained by clicking on the Transfer Station link above.
