Chief William F. Mulligan served the citizens of Merrimack since June 1974.
Following his retirement from the Merrimack Police Department he begins a new career as the Chief of Police in Tyngsborough, MA.

The Chief has received a number of awards, including the Purple Heart.
Chief Mulligan’s hobbies include weightlifting, running, biking, golfing and playing the guitar. He has been married since 1974 and has two children.
