Public Info Meeting - US 3 (DW Highway) Bridge over Baboosic Brook

The Town of Merrimack will be conducting a Public Informational Meeting relative to the replacement of the US Route 3 (DW Highway) bridge over Baboosic Brook.  This meeting will be held at the following location, date and time:

The existing bridge is currently on the New Hampshire Department of Transportation’s (NHDOT) Municipal Redlist due to the structural integrity of the bridge.  The Town of Merrimack in cooperation with the NHDOT is developing a bridge replacement program for replacement of the bridge in 2023.  To address the high traffic volume on the highway during construction, the project proposes to construct an on-site two-lane temporary roadway and bridge to allow for the replacement of the existing bridge in its current location.

The meeting will include a presentation by Public Works and their bridge design consultant on the alternatives investigated for the replacement of the bridge, and provide opportunity for local stake holders to share comments relative to the project.  The meeting will be recorded by MerrimackTV.
