Chief Michael Milligan

Chief Michael Milligan has been serving the citizens of Merrimack since May 1978. He was promoted to the rank of Police Chief in May 2007.

Chief Milligan has served the people of Merrimack since 1978 when he became a part-time officer.  He has held every position within the department until being appointed Police Chief in May of 2007.  Prior to becoming Chief he served as the Assistant Town Manager and acting Town Manager.  The Chief has served both the community and state on several committees and currently holds appointments to several state level committees concerning professional standards, policies and training.

Chief Milligan is married with two sons and resides in Merrimack.  In his spare time he is active in the community and his church.
