Appointments

1.  Annual Review with the Town Center Committee  
Submitted by Town Center Committee Chair Nelson Disco
Per Town of Merrimack Charter Section 6-6, at least annually, there should be an annual review with the Town Center Committee.  This agenda item is to highlight the committee’s significant actions, current projects, anticipated actions, and to raise any concerns the Council should know or could act on.

Public Hearing

1.   Public Hearing – Homeland Security Grant for the Merrimack Police Department

The Town Council will hold a public hearing to authorize the acceptance and expenditure of a Homeland Security grant in the amount of $14,512 for the Merrimack Police Department, made available through the Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Management to be used towards the purchase of five (5) Night Vision Goggles (NVG) units for out officers, pursuant to RSA 31:95-b and Charter Article 8-15.

2.   Public Hearing - GOFERR & NHDES Grant for Town of Merrimack (PFAS Rebate Project)

The Town Council will hold a public hearing to authorize the acceptance and expenditure of a grant in the amount of $1,072,500 for the Town of Merrimack, made available through the Governor’s Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery (GOFERR) and New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) to be used towards the PFAS Rebate Project, pursuant to RSA 31:95-b and Charter Article 8-15.

2. Town of Merrimack Returned Check or Electronic Means Policy Update [Tabled at the October 13, 2022 Town Council meeting]
Submitted by Town Treasurer Xenia Simpson
The Town Council to consider the recommended changes to the Town of Merrimack Returned Check or Electronic Means Policy.

New Business

1. Direction for 2023/2024 Budget
Submitted by Town Manager Paul T. Micali & Finance Director Thomas Boland
To ask the Town Council to contemplate budget parameters for the 2023/2024 budget season.
