1. Annual Review with the Parks and Recreation Committee
Submitted by Parks and Recreation Committee Chair Tracy McGraw
Per Town of Merrimack Charter Section 6-6, at least annually, there should be an annual review with the Parks and Recreation Committee. This agenda item is to highlight the committee’s significant actions, current projects, anticipated actions, and to raise any concerns the Council should know or could act on.

1. Consideration of Changes to Chapter 178, Taxation (Article II, Elderly Tax Exemptions), of the Merrimack Town Code [Final Reading]

The Town Council to consider the acceptance of recommended changes to Chapter 178, Taxation (Article II, Elderly Tax Exemption), of the Merrimack Town Code, pursuant to Charter Article V.

1. Default Budget Discussion

The Town Council to provide the Town Manager with direction on the Default Budget.
New Business
1. Proposed Eagle Scout Project for Town Parks
Submitted by Ryan Marone, Boy Scout Troop 424
The Town Council to be presented with Boy Scout Ryan Marone’s proposed Eagle Scout project to build three (3) Little Free Lending Libraries to be placed in Town Parks at Abbie Griffin, Veterans Park and Watson Park.
2. Loader – Withdrawal Request from Minor Solid Waste Disposal Capital Reserve Fund
Submitted by Public Works Director Dawn Tuomala
The Town Council to consider a request to withdraw and expend up to $379,890 from the Minor Solid Waste Capital Reserve Fund for the purchase of a new Loader for the Public Works Solid Waste Division.
3. Town Council Retreat / Goal Session Discussion
Submitted by Town Council Chair Finlay Rothhaus and Vice Chair Nancy Harrington
Town Council to discuss when and where their Retreat / Goal Session will be held.
4. Town Council Committee Assignments
Submitted by Town Council Chair Finlay Rothhaus and Vice Chair Nancy Harrington
The Town Council will determine committee assignments for the current year.
