1.   Public Hearing – Consideration of Changes to Chapter 181, Traffic and Special Event Management, of the Merrimack Town Code
Submitted by the Merrimack Town Council
The Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider the acceptance of recommended changes to Chapter 181, Traffic and Special Event Management, of the Merrimack Town Code, amending Section 181-05, Violations and Penalties, pursuant to Charter Article V.

2    Public Hearing - Consideration of Changes to Chapter 183, Vehicles and Traffic, of the Merrimack Town Code
Submitted by the Merrimack Town Council
The Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider the recommended changes to Chapter 183, Vehicles and Traffic, to revise the wording on Hadley Road to prohibit vehicles from parking on Hadley Road during school hours (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) on school days, pursuant to Charter Article V.

3.   Public Hearing - Discussion of Adoption of Parking Fine Schedule for Chapter 183, Vehicles and Traffic, of the Merrimack Town Code

The Town Council to consider the acceptance of recommended changes to Chapter 183, Vehicles and Traffic, of the Merrimack Town Code, to amend 183-36, Schedule IX: Parking Prohibited at All Times, pursuant to Charter Article V.

3.   Annual Town Council Retreat / Goal Session Discussion

1.   Temporary Closure of Watson Park

The Town Council to consider the temporary closure of Watson Park for the remainder of the summer.

2.   State Primary Election Discussion
Submitted by Town Moderator Lynn Christensen
Town Moderator Lynn Christensen to provide the Town Council with an update on the upcoming State Primary Election scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, 2020. The Council will discuss any further actions that should be taken to protect the health and safety of voters and election workers, to include urging people to apply for absentee ballots.

2.  National Purple Heart Day
Submitted by Town Councilor Barbara Healey
The Town Council to issue a proclamation designating August 7, 2020, as “Purple Heart Day”.
