Activity Lane

The Merrimack Transfer Station offers a designated area for Merrimack based groups to hold fundraising and campaigning events. The use of the activity lane is free of charge. If you are interested in reserving a spot for your group, please call the Transfer Station office at (603) 424-2604 to check availability. When reserving a date, please provide the group name, contact name, contact phone number and preferred date. Only two consecutive Saturdays are allowed at once to allow other group to reserve the lane. 

Once your group has reserved a spot, you will be allowed to utilize the lane during our normal hours of operation on your date (Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am-4:00pm)

Activity Lane Rules: 

1. SAFETY ALWAYS COMES FIRST! Groups are required to stand behind a chained off area provided by the facility and allow vehicles to approach. Please be sure that members of your group DO NOT cross over the chain and attempt to approach passing vehicles. This is very dangerous and and disrupts the flow of traffic. PLEASE KEEP ALL PARTICIPANTS BEHIND THE CHAIN AND WITHIN THE DESIGNATED AREA. 

2. We only provide ONE designated area for the activity lane. Groups are strictly prohibited to set up in any other area of the Transfer Station facility.

3. Please do not attempt to expand the cones and chains to accommodate a larger group. The activity lane is provided for small groups. If you have a large group, you may want to break up your event into shifts throughout the day. This way, everyone is able to participate while limiting the number of people all at once. 

4. Please, NO swearing and NO horseplay. Please be respectful of those who chose not to participate in your event and be a positive representative of your group.
