Town Manager's Office Staff

Town Manager

Paul T. Micali was appointed as Merrimack's Town Manager effective May 1, 2021. 

Before becoming Town Manager, Paul served as Finance Director/Assistant Town Manager.

Human Resources Director

Sharon Marunicz is the Human Resources Director and is responsible for furnishing personnel services to Town departments, advising Town officials and the public on personnel policy practices and problems and counseling employees on employee rights and personnel matters as well as direct supervision of the Executive Secretaries and Secretary in the Town Manager's Office.

Executive Secretary 

Becky Thompson is the Executive Secretary in the Town Manager's Office. She performs a full range of complex, executive secretarial and administrative support duties.  The Executive Secretary assists in the preparation and dissemination of the Town Council’s agenda and arrangements for public meetings and prepares and mails correspondence and notices of decisions.

Executive Secretary - HR

Robin Smith is the Human Resources Executive Secretary.  She is responsible for performing a full range of complex, executive secretarial and human resources administrative functions to support all Town employees. Assists with the administration of labor contracts, employee compensation and benefit programs, employee services, employee communications, recruiting, and personnel and medical recordkeeping activities for the Town.  

Secretary

Sharon Haynes is the General Government Secretary.  She is responsible for greeting residents and visitors in person and on the telephone, scheduling use of various Town facilities, coordinating the permitting process for Town Council and Town Manager issued permits, and general administrative support to the Town Manager and Human Resources Director.

Technology Coordinator

Jonathan Dias is the Technology Coordinator, responsible for the Town’s Information Technology Division, and provides administrative, supervisory, and technical work in managing the Town’s information technology systems, as well assisting all departments with their technology needs.

Assistant Technology Coordinator

Leo Cusson is the Assistant Technology Coordinator, responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Town’s management information system (MIS) including the computer network and personal applications and operations; trains and assists users of personal computers in resolving daily operational and/or technical problems.
