To update the Town Council on the festivities for the July 4th Family Fun Day/Midway.

Public Hearing

  1. Public Hearing - Tiered Sewer Access Fee Structure
    Submitted by Community Development Director Tim Thompson, Public Works Director Rick Seymour and Wastewater Treatment Facility Assistant Director Jim Taylor
    The Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider the recommended proposed revision to the existing Sewer Fee Structure, pursuant to Article X of Chapter 158, Sewer Use Ordinance of the Merrimack Town Code and RSA 149-I.

  1. Changes to Chapter 193, Welfare Guidelines [Final Reading]

    The Town Council to consider the recommended changes to Chapter 193 – Welfare Guidelines of the Merrimack Town Code, pursuant to Charter Article V, Section 5-4.

  1. Declaration of Town Council Vacancy
    Submitted by Town Council Vice Chair Nancy Harrington
    The Town Council to officially declare the vacancy left by the passing of David G. Yakuboff, Sr., pursuant to Charter Article 4-5.

     
  2. Eagle Scout Project Proposal
    Submitted by Life Scout Evan Petrie
    Life Scout Evan Petrie is looking for Town Council approval of his proposed Eagle Scout project which entails the construction of (2) bridges within Grater Woods.
     
  3. Committee Appointments
    Submitted by Town Council Chairman David G. Yakuboff, Sr. and Vice Chair Nancy Harrington
    The Town Council to consider appointing recommended individuals to the Town’s Committees, pursuant to Charter Article 4-8.
     
  4. Appointment of Library Trustee
    Submitted by Town Council Chairman David G. Yakuboff, Sr. and Vice Chair Nancy Harrington
    The Town Council to appoint the recommended Library Trustee to fill the vacancy until the April 2015 election, pursuant to Charter Article 6-2 and RSA 202-A:10.
     
  5. 2013-2014 OHRV Grant Award for the Merrimack Police Department
    Submitted by Lt. Paul Trepaney
    The Town Council to consider the acceptance and expenditure of a OHRV grant from the New Hampshire Fish and Game to the Merrimack Police Department in the amount of $1,080.00 to fund overtime patrols on off-highway recreational vehicles owned by the Department to enforce OHRV laws in the areas of Town not accessible to standard patrol vehicles, pursuant to Charter 8-15 and RSA 31:95-b.
     
  6. Acceptance of Camp Scholarship Donations for Parks and Recreation
    Submitted by Parks and Recreation Director Matt Casparius
    The Town Council to consider the acceptance and expenditure of donations from the following organizations for the Parks and Recreation Department to be put towards the Naticook Summer Day Camp Scholarship Program: American Camp Association - $550, Rotary Club of Merrimack - $370, Bear Christensen Trust - $370, Merrimack Lions Club - $200 and Merrimack Friends and Families - $1,000, pursuant to Charter Article 8-15 and RSA 31:95-b.
     
  7. Third Quarter Ending Financial Review
    Submitted by Finance Director Paul T. Micali
    Finance Director Paul Micali will review third quarter ending March 31, 2014 financial information.

8.      Repurchase of Tax Deeded Property
Submitted by Town Manager Eileen Cabanel
To consider the repurchase of recently tax deeded property tax map parcel 6C/211 and the Town Council deems that this shall include all back taxes, interests, costs and penalty, pursuant to RSA 80:80 III and Article 66-1 of the Merrimack Town Code.

9.Disposal of Tax Deeded Properties

The Town Council to consider the disposal of the following tax deeded properties, pursuant to RSAs 80:88, 80:89 and 80:90.
Tax Map: 6C/211 – 111 Wire Road –1-story ranch with .942 acres Tax Map:  6A-2/161 – 310A Baboosic Lake Road -1.5 story camp-seasonal with .20 acres Tax Map:  6A-2/108 – 8 Mayhew Road -.17 acres

  1. Discussion on State Proposal of F.E.E. Turnpike Widening
    Submitted by Town Manager Eileen Cabanel
    To discuss the State’s proposal of widening the F.E.E. Turnpike in the Exit 11 area.
