Announcements
- Based upon the weather forecast for this weekend; we have decided to officially postpone the Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting. The event will now be held on Sunday, December 7th. The parade will still begin at 3:00 p.m. and the tree lighting at Abbie Griffin Park will begin at approximately 3:45 p.m.
(or whenever the parade gets to Abbie Griffin Park). The parade will begin at The Commons Shopping Plaza located at 515 Daniel Webster Highway and travels down Daniel Webster Highway to Baboosic Lake Road and ends at Town Hall.
- The Annual “Badges vs. Hardhats” Community Food Drive is underway. Drop off donated non-perishable items at the Police Department or Public Works Department now through January 1st. All donations are delivered to local food pantries to help families in need this Holiday season.
Town Manager’s Report
- The ramps for the FE Everett Turnpike Exit 12 in Merrimack will be closed for toll removal work on Saturday, December 6, 2014. It is expected that the northbound ramp will be closed from 8:00 AM to Noon and the southbound ramp will be closed from Noon to 4:00 PM. Times may vary with the progress of work.
- Property Tax Bills are due on Monday, December 8th.
