Town Manager’s Report

 

• As the Conservation Commission spoke about in January at their annual meeting with the Town Council, the Commission is about to go out to bid for a parking lot expansion project at the Amherst Road Parking Lot for the Horse Hill Nature Preserve.  This project will occur on the town owned portion of the preserve.  The Commission has done the preliminary wetlands check by a wetland scientist, had conversations with and included input from the abutters, and worked with Kyle Fox to generate a bid package. If members of the Council have any questions regarding the project, the Commission will be able to answer them, since they are here tonight on a separate issue.
